Sensory-friendly events are thoughtfully designed for school-aged campers (ages 8–22) who require additional support to meaningfully participate in Bournelyf’s off-season programs.

Each event is carefully planned with campers’ unique needs in mind and include:

​

• A visual schedule to support routine and predictability

• A 3:1 camper-to-counselor ratio to ensure personalized attention

• A social story provided one week prior to help campers prepare

Our sensory-friendly events are created to:

• Incorporate sensory integration activities

• Offer opportunities to practice social skills in a supportive environment

• Provide respite for families, knowing their camper is supported by trained staff
